In 1976, I embarked on my first surf shop venture alongside partner Ron Heavysides. The process of sourcing products from California was both time-consuming and costly. This led me to transition from retail and establish Rainbow Distributing (RDI), a family-owned corporation deeply rooted in an active ocean-centric lifestyle.

Every member of our team is involved in water sports like surfing, windsurfing, SUP, and wakeboarding. We personally evaluate and test each product we offer, ensuring they meet the manufacturer’s claims. Additionally, environmental consciousness is paramount to us.
