Ohana Seafood is a family-owned venture founded by John L. Mensonides, a Modesto native with a rich background in business and a deep passion for seafood. After a successful 22-year career in finance and consulting, John transitioned his expertise to the seafood industry, successfully growing a Bay Area distributor before deciding to create his own company.
John is joined by his wife, Kathleen, and their son, Jason, making Ohana Seafood a true family affair. Jason, leveraging his experience in Modesto’s restaurant scene and as a route driver, built strong relationships with local chefs and businesses. Together, our family is dedicated to making Ohana Seafood the premier source for high-quality seafood in Central California.
