Tropic Star Seafood, Inc. is a family-run, wholesale seafood distributor specializing in processing fresh, wild-caught seafood. Based in Polk County, Florida, we work with a giant fleet of local fishermen who deliver daily catches harvested sustainably from Florida waters.
We focus on removing invasive species like Tilapia and turning them into delicious, sustainable products for future generations. Our offerings include Catfish, Alligator, Mullet, Bream, Grouper, Snapper, Sheepshead, Blue Crab, and more — sourced locally, from the Gulf of Mexico, Northeast, Texas, Louisiana, Miami, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art facility, liquid nitrogen freeze tunnel, ozonated water sanitation, and expert fish cutters, we process thousands of pounds daily — delivering to restaurants, markets, and retailers across Florida and beyond.
