Established in 2009 in the charming Japanese city of Gifu, ARTISTIC & CO. Ltd. is the creative force behind a range of cutting-edge devices and cosmetics, all meticulously developed and manufactured on-site.

Gifu, renowned for its storied artisan culture steeped in quality and craftsmanship, has a historical legacy of producing the highest quality blades and swords for Samurai warriors. Today, the region continues to be a hub for the creation of world-class razors, knives, and scissors, while also being celebrated as a resort destination with mineral-rich hot springs that draw people seeking physical well-being and relaxation.

Founder Hideki Kondo, deeply inspired by his hometown’s legacy, assembled a team of engineers, beauty experts, and designers to embody the Japanese philosophy of beauty and nature. Following this ethos, the mission of the ARTISTIC & CO. team is to craft elegantly designed, lightweight skincare devices for home use.

With a family background in the spa and salon business, Kondo-san’s wife, a beauty professional, sparked the idea of creating a handheld skincare device that could replicate the benefits of large facial machines found in upscale salons. This vision led to the introduction of the company’s first advanced skincare device for the face and body.
