Minnie and Moon

Meet Minnie and Moon, a San Francisco native now residing outside Philadelphia. Beyond managing a small business, I’m a devoted home cook, passionate gardener, dance teacher, creative spirit, and proud mom to two boys.

Our company bears the names of my grandmothers. Minnie, who ran the family hardware store in San Francisco, introduced me to European tool factories at a young age, instilling the importance of quality tools that endure. Moon (a nickname for Margaret) descended from Danish homesteaders on the California coast. She passed on practical skills in gardening, cooking, and creating a warm home, along with a resourceful and waste-free mindset. Their influences shape the products we offer.

At Minnie and Moon, our commitment extends to uplifting small businesses and supporting women in our community. We prioritize environmental stewardship, seeking quality, long-lasting products and embracing responsible shipping and packaging practices, all while minimizing waste in our operations.
